OK... we try again....... OK.. this may look a little weird on this site but I’m not sure where else to post this and I don’t want to just turn in this membership. Anyway.. back in 1983 we used to live on the East Coast. We bought a campground membership in Outdoor World figuring we would be around to use it. In 1984 we transferred to Colorado and haven’t been able to use it since. Since I spent $6,495 for the membership, I was reluctant to let it go. So I have been paying the yearly maintenance fees since. I have tried to sell it in the past with no luck. The current price of this membership is up over $10,000. However I can’t sell it for more than the original $6,495. This is a master membership that is transferable up to three times (which means that if you take it, you can sell it or pass it on once more). So here’s the deal. If I transfer it, I have to pay them $324.95 as a transfer fee along with the current year’s dues of $234. Otherwise I can send them a letter and say they can have it back and owe nothing but lose the membership totally. I really hate to just throw it away. So if someone is into RV camping, tent camping, or looking to rent RVs on-site, I’m willing to give them the membership for $558.95. That’s a heck of a deal off the original price and even more off the current price. You would then be responsible for the yearly membership dues starting in 2008. They currently have 15 sites from Maine to Florida and as far west as Belvidere, IL. You can view the overall properties at http://www.1000trails.com/site/page/pg3488-as135.html This is a legit organization, now run by the same folks that run Thousand Trails, and a great place, just too far east for us to use anymore. Let me know if anyone is interested and we can talk about it in detail. Jamie
 Leah was also around yesterday...maybe she did it?? Oh well....it will continue to be a mystery, as long as someone finally gets to read it that needs/wants it
