There are no, I repeat no qualified digital camera repair facilities in Cancun. Canon does have 2 factory authorized repair depots in Merida, but I believe only one is for digital still cameras. That would be the one below. You can call them and arrange to send your camera in or drive up there yourself. Do not use the Mexican Postal Service. Use FedEx, DHL or Estafeta.
