The picture rules are unfortunate to me! The first time we went(2011), I had over 500 pictures of all the fun and wonderful people we met, as well as some scenery, drunk pics of my leg or finger, etc. By the 3rd time(2012), it dropped to about 300 because they wouldn't allow pics of the activities unless you were in them, which is hard to take a pic of yourself while doing some of those activities, lol! When we went last year, I barely had a little over 100 pics because everyone totally freaked out if they saw a camera! Pictures were also how we would recall our drunken activities the next day! We used to enjoy coming home, putting the pics on the computer, reliving the memories, and then tucking them away in a locked folder. We enjoy the candid pics over posed pics. I never shared any of these with anyone else, nor did I post them to any social media. I realize respect for others privacy is vital, and find it unfortunate that a few bad apples have spoiled it by lacking respect. That being said, I'm going to be very friendly to everyone, and hope you'll all join me in my picture taking frenzy!!!
Well, that escalated quickly! HaHa! While nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit at TTR, people know you at home, and they are a judgmental bunch! We can't all be free and open, no matter where we work or what we do! I made the mistake of mentioning to a co-worker at a factory I worked at that we were going to temptations, and rumor of it spread quickly, with everyone assuming I was a swinger and a slut, leading to me having to fend off or put down unwanted attention. So, what happens at TTR, stays at TTR!!!
Are you or your wife in the photo, or did you take the picture of the group? Then I would say yes. The group ones are tough. I don't put any pictures up of people, unless I know they put them up of themselves as well. (unless they are like normal pictures dressed before dinner...which there are not that many of, haha)
I must say my first visit to TTR I wish I had more pics. We only have maybe 20 total mostly in the room or at the beach. The reason being that the first day we were there we were in a group doing AIWC shots. There was a creeper across the pool snaping photos of the group. After that it became very risque to take any photos at all. It killed the mood for photography the rest of the trip as no one wanted to be accused of taking photos of someone else unknowingly. I wish it wasn't like that. Its not a private underground brothel with a secret password where cameras and phones are confiscated at the door. But at the same time everyone should have their privacy respected and be able to give consent before photos are taken.. Now if u happen to be in the background of photo posted and someone from your job or church sees you and points you out then 2 things. 1. What were they searching on the internet that they found that. 2. Maybe you shouldn't be there if you life is that private and secretive. Just saying a bored post from work.
Take pics, have fun with your memories and just use good judgment. The camera situation has been getting progressively worse on certain levels. By this I mean people taking pics of people without permission and for someone's personal creepiness. We were at TTR a few trips ago and had an issue. We were sitting by the Sexy Pool and I looked up and watched the known single creepy guy :aetsch022: taking pictures with his extended zoom lens from his balcony overlooking the Sexy Pool. When he saw me, he pretended like he was taking pictures of the ocean, etc. Bullshit. :angrymad: When he thought I wasn't looking, he started his trolling again. I saw him just looking away, but clicking the other away with his camera. I called upon our Butler and he contacted the main security guy (can't remember his name to save my life). Anyway, after I reported the creepy guy and before you could blink, security was 4 deep and at his room. They demanded the film and told him that if this situation comes up again, he is gone not only from that trip, but permanently from TTR. Good job by the staff. :xyxthumbs: Ang
The Mrs here...I so hear you on this issue! I like to take pics; but if I was to post pics I would ask permission of those in the pics first. We just got home from our 3rd trip to TTR a cpl of weeks ago...this time I noticed I hardly took any pics unlike our other trips. I was just too busy enjoying all the sexiness and fun of this wonderful resort. I don't post to FB...as you stated "judgmental bunch" of people out there. But we do have a cpl of albums on here. I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through so much heartache at your place of employment. I love that "What happens at TTR, stays at TTR!!!"
