I believe walmart does, but you are way better off going to a Telcel store. There is one in the la isla shopping center/mall (km 12.5 in the hotel zone) that is a real store and have people who speak english. You can get the sim there, and get the credits and they will configure it all for you with the data plan you want and everything. They don't take dollars anymore so bring pesos. The sim is 149 pesos (comes with a 50 peso call credit). If you get it at walmart or something you have to send a special formatted text message to initially set it up and then a another txt with a code for the data plan. You would also need to top it off with some prepaid money too for the minutes and such. There are some services online that can handle most all of that for you ahead of time but the costs are higher. You can buy the sim on ebay and then activate, it should have instructions on what to enter. you may need to google a random famous mexicans CURP # (mexican national ID number) to use in the txt to get it to work properly if you aren't doing it at the store. Wow this is great.. no need to pay the resort $20 for a day of their Wi-Fi when we can have 3GygaBits for $38.38 even the 2GygaBits should be enough to upload all your pictures, wifi calls, etc. Thanks!!!
You do not want to us the phones is the room they will kill you on the rates it wll be close to $20 per min and you will have no idea until you check out and you will be stuck. We used on cell phons with the international plan added with no issues you can all so sent cell phones as well at very good rates.
Forgive me forbeing a little dim. But will my UK phone not work over there! And honestly how much is the wi f at hotel?
