HI everyone - I'm sure this has been asked before, but what is everyone's preferred method of calling home. We're coming down from Canada in 9 days (woo hoo) and were thinking of getting a cell phone. Any tips?
You can buy phone cards at the store next door and use them in marked pay phones (ones that take that card). They have one or two of those phones in the hotel. Cheaper than a cell phone and all the roaming / LD charges etc

calls our last trip was 69 cents a min. , took out the internationaling calling before we left. best we found prior trip it was about $45 per call over a land line.
We already are repeat offenders - went last year just after new years so technically this is twice in one year. Thanks for the info.
We went 3 times from Aug 07 to Aug 08...think part of my liver is still on a lounge chair around the sexy pool and the part that came home with me had to book its own seat on the flight :roll:
