@ScubaSteve: We're in WV (near PIT), so very aware of the PA laws. WV used to forbid anything over 5%, so we'd have to travel over the line for a respectable selection. Thank God they relaxed that recently, so we can get better stuff now. I still go to PA for case deals, though. My neighbor drives over an hour to go to a Wegman's near PIT airport. He hits the pub first, buys a growler, and then forgets to shop for food. Priorities.
The PA laws are getting better. We are now able to get 12 packs at the beer distributor. Not that I mind buying a full case, but it is helpful when I have to get a case of Mike's Hard Lemonade at $40+ bucks a pop for my father-in-law who then proceeds to drink 4. I end up drinking the rest for breakfast. Glad you know about Wegmans! Yea we never end up food shopping. Once my friend and I stayed there for 8 hours. The bartenders know us and were like seriously guys a full day at the food store, hahaha. Hey we took some breaks to go eat sushi.
That looks like beer nirvana. I have also asked a friend who over winters in PoMo. He will sniff around for a bit too
Okay, there aren't many things that I'm thankful for in California when it comes to government but I sure am glad we have the liquor laws we do. You can get beer anywhere, any kind, any quantity and you can buy liquor in grocery stores. Hell Costco has liquor. I just bought a 1.75ml of Skyy yesterday for $16.99.
Kick ass. Great minds think alike. Pizza Night on the deck here: When are you at TTR next? If you're there Nov 10-15, we can try to relieve all of Cancun of their stock of Belgian ales.
