Calgary Stampede ~ CCC Party July 12 - 15 Roll Call! 2012

Sounds like it will be a full weekend ! I am looking forward to see everyone!

 

K been reading and wholly f#$%k confused about what the hell we are doing on what day. It's nice to have some things that don't brak the bank. We are in for Stomp, the pub crawl maybe,the breakfast (probably not) and I really am not sure how well I will be walking three weeks after my surgery. 12 hours in a bar on a pub crawl. Expensive too. I may or may not be able to stand a long time and if it packed that is a concern for me too. Glenn chatting with Vince on the phone as he has kid issues too. He also wants to talk on the phone rather than email back and forth. We'll keep you posted.

also I think the pub crawl would be more like 4 or 5 hours.. as i don't think the bars stay open till 5am in Calgary.. lol :icon_wink:

DeniseB and Mario are on the BBQ list and Derek is on the Oxford list. I haven't heard more from him than that at this point.

 

I know that stampede is expensive.....not much I can do about thar. That's why tickets are only if you want them. Any our group don't want I will sell to other contacts I have. .

The breakfast on Friday morning is pretty expensive but a fun time. Its basically free drinking for 4 hours which in a bar at Stampede can easily pass $100 so its somewhat of a wash.

The BBQ at my place is covered for food.....if people can bring some drinks, that would be great and we can get a good start on the pub crawl drinking and cut down the cost of drinks in the bars.

 

Am I seriously expected to start drinking at 8 am on Friday at the breakfast, then go to Cowboys to drink from 12 to 3 pm, and then do the Oxford Stomp from 3 to 9? Is this humanly possible? Or humanely possible? Or even advisable? :icon_eek:
