    I believe HM is for a mid sized business. That's probably why it's billed monthly.

    Tristan is probably right about that. I'm not under the impression that the HZ is not in the 1-C tariff class (residential, Benito Juarez), but that there are individual projects that are not.

    1-C is the most advantageous tariff class, and is also the most common here, for residences. The condos in my project are all individually metered, and tariff class 1-C, as have been all four places I've lived in Cancun.

    With electric rates pretty high, here, for those who use a/c, this becomes a consideration when renting, or buying.
