We want to vacation in Cancun in March. Should I buy my plane tickets now or wait until later in the year? We're coming from Texas.
If it is in late March, buy them now. they can get very expensive, since it is the start of spring break. Also, the sooner you buy them (3months in advance or more, the cheaper they are).
I think it depends on where you are flying from. I booked peak weak last year (march 10-17) from my home airport, direct flights for $99 each way. But without that deal it would have been well over $300 r/t. You'll probably have better luck getting a package deal or charter flight at a lower price.
