I'm trying to remember. I think we had 4 bottles included and we also bought some bottles ourselves from outside the hotel before arriving, and other people brought bottles also. I know we had loads left the next morning and it will probably last us 3 years, because yeah we bought it all home with us. We also had our own in room bartender for a few hours and 2 or 3 girls serving snacks. Price was $100 for the service but I think we paid double that with tip. The one thing I can definitely remember from a previous stay was we once bought a bottle of fireball for the room. We paid $65 for that plus tip for the guy who delivered it at 3am in the morning. Fireball price at Europea is about $30 so it was more expensive, but not ridiculously so.
Thanks for the info. Results in a couple follow ups... Do you think you got that price because you are steve or do you think that is the price? I expected it to be more for a bartender and wait staff. I recall you being worried about the amount of people bc there were limits communicated. Did they seem to count the people? And last but not least, and definitely most importantly, we can solve your 3 year over supply of liquor problem... bring it to the master on the 14th or 15th
We have the penthouse again on April 4th so I might be able to get a better recollection then. No I don't think I got a better price for being "me" but I don't know, maybe I did. I didn't expect or ask for a better price. Also almost certainly not for the fireball bottle on a previous visit. I just called the Front Desk at 3am, no prior arrangement. We were told 30 people max, which is low considering the size of the penthouse room plus balcony. In the end it was probably 50-60 max at one time with people coming and going. Also, we invited a few of our favorite Ents staff and they were keen to come, but I stressed they must have permission (don't want anyone losing their job). In the end they weren't allowed. Might well take you up on that offer on the 14/15. Will have to see what the boss says, but we do intend to come over to see the April Addicts at some point.
I'll be there those nights, only ever brought drinks for room crawls. Wrapped it tight with good cushion and it made it. To address another question, we had a few bottles from peoples' rooms from the October room crawl and brought them all down to Bash and was doing shots on the floor. Glass bottles...no one stopped us. Though I could see it becoming a problem, even with how bright it is now, broken glass with a lot of ladies in bare feet would be very bad. It wouldn't stop me from bringing something I wanted to drink or share, but would definitely try and be cautious with the bottle. Officially 2 weeks out! 2 boobs cruises! great friends and new ones to make! can't wait!
So Jess loves fireball. Well we are not premier so it was not offered to us without purchasing it at the ridiculous price of $60 a bottle. She went through 3 bottles last trip. Needless to say we will be bringing it with us this time
