Our group got rooms at the Doubletree on 15th and the rate was right. Well, not "right" as in the $109 BBB block rate at the CP but still OK with the Hilton Honors thing, so it's all good. Pub Crawl pass, barge party pass, and hotel party pass all check and paid for, so we're all good we think.

The "shock the vanillas" pub crawl, not having done that before Stacia wants to know the "dress code so to speak the group will have for our ladies. Is it all Ho'ed out, or just skimpy, or flashable or what?

Personally, I'm good with a combination of those options, but that's just me I think.

 

The main thing to remember is that we will be walking.......so have the ladies wear comfortable sexy heels!!! These bars are regular bars. It is summer and you know it will be HOT! I will probably wear shorts and a sexy top. I wouldn't take it too overboard for the public bar crawl. Save the SEXY SEXY stuff for the hotel party!!!

 

Refresh my memory...aren't Uber and Lyft still not allowed in Austin?

 

No. They have Taxi's and a service called Fasten which functions just like Uber.

 

Nah... I didn't mean Stacia's going to dress like she's hitting Patyo's... er... Bash or The Club. Just wondering what the "look" is going to be. Short shorts and a sexy top works fine. Noted about walking. Comfy shoes of a sexy lifting variety. Check.

The main hotel Crown Plaza is already full. You might be able to call and get a room if someone cancels or you might try booking off a hotel-booking site.

We have a alternative hotel that’s next door to the Crown Plaza. They cant give us a block or special rate but it’s the Double Tree 6505 N Interstate 35, Austin, Texas, 78752 - 512-454-3737 Rates are around $150 a night and they have a lot open at the moment but they will go fast so book now!

We booked earlier for barge ride and have just recently booked room at Orangewood, right next to Crown Plaza ($112 for king size bedroom with kitchenette.

 

Dammit lol..now this boat raftup is our kind of party..something we do most every weekend here in ky.. I so wished it wasn't so far from us and we could pull our boat and join in on this event. I know you all will have fun with this. Wished they was some from our region to put together a chinos charity raftup event in ky on lake Cumberland the home of the world record size of boat raftup partys..would love to see some pics from all the fun you all have from this once it's done. All you TTR folks have fun and enjoy this event wished we was able to join in.
