Was just giving you the gears, no offense intended, I did put a smiley face afterwards lol I'm well aware that my food choices are suspect at the best of times but when drunk they border on "street meat or dumpster diving?" lol

Pizza sounds pretty good though, I'd go for a slice at that time of night

For me, it's a few things.

    1: While it's definitely not the world's best burger, it's got a unique (in a good way) flavor to it. It's not gourmet-style, it's not In-n-Out basic-burger-done-awesomely style, it's not McDonald's absolute-shit-that-still-tastes-good-somehow style. That plays into ...

2: Because of that, I fully associate it with being drunk and having a blast at TTR. The only time and place I can get that unique kind of burger also happens to be my favorite time and place in the whole world. It's like, is Home Alone a great movie? Probably not, but we watch it every year around Christmas because it has kind of a happy association surrounding it.

3: A big greasy plate of protein before bed helps combat the hangover, and they make it quick and easy to grab when the night's over.

4: I think everybody's looking for signs that the little things that made the old TTR unique will still be in effect, and this has become the canary in the coalmine.

Totally agree with what you are saying. Nostalgic food somehow makes be think about brownies in NYC.

The biggest point is your #4. That makes perfect sense related to everyone's concerns/worry on the resort changing. One of the things that made me very happy to hear in this regard was all the cursing and shit talking on the mic in some of the live feeds last night. I figured if they toned that back, and didn't encourage nudity in the games, we really would be on the verge of a changing the the tides. Happy to hear that both of these things that made the place what it was, and will be, are still present.

I love the smell, and love the fries. But can't do it after the year I swelled up like a tick. So I might have one Burger the whole time in there, cuz they just smell so damn good. The fries, well, that may be more than once. Hahaha. Yummmmm.
Oddly enough I typically don't eat late night unless someone is like "hey let's get (insert food name or place name here)" It always sounds like a great idea while trashed, but I'm usually not stahvin.

It's late, make up and hair has been messed, theme outfits are scattered around, heels are off and the alcohol has done its job. A crappy burger and handful of fries fit the mood!

I personally love seeing everyone sharing their fries with anyone and everyone who walks by :)

While I am not a huge fan of the burgers (although I have put down a few over the past 12-ish trips!), Marlena does enjoy one most nights we are up late. The burger and a large water/Gatorade before bed are what allows her to party for 7 days straight, so thats fine with me! [IMG]

I'm with you on this! The first really late night I ate it. The next night I made the mistake of looking under the bun lol. I would venture to say it's questionable that's it even beef, I couldn't eat another one the rest of the week lol. So we would go to the snack shack and load a plate up with hot wings to put in the fridge. Much better imo.
