Good friends of mine applied for a visa to allow them to enter Mexico for the purpose of establishing permanent residency. They were amply qualified, financially and by years of experience spending lots of time in Mexico, plus owning a home here. They were denied, and given instead a visa to enter to establish temporary residency for one year. I wonder if others have experienced any anomalies along the way. _________________________
