We were bumped to Desire Pearl the same time you two were in 2013 - was awesome! Next trip beginning March 3 we are splitting our time - 5 nights at TTR and 4 at Pearl. Best of both worlds!!!
Yeah I don’t count that as a bump since you had a choice. More like a reward. Still on 1. I really don’t think it happens much at all. As I type I can’t help but think I am jinxing is for our next trip
WELL WE HAVE STAYED THERE ABOUT 300 NIGHTS IN 3O TRIPS BUMPED 1 NIGHT EVER SAME NIGHT AS VINCE AND WENDY TO GP. WE WERE PISSED SO WENT TO THE POOL FIRST PERSON WE SAW WAS JIM HE SAID GET YOUR BAGS YOU ARE STAYING WITH US TONIGHT SO WE DID. ALSO GOT 2 FREE NIGHTS ON OUR NEXT VISIT. HOTEL WAS NOT HAPPY WE DIDNT GO TO GP AS THEY HAD TO PAY FOR IT. YA WITH OUR MONEY RIGHT!!!!!!!
Bump requested in 2013 and each April to Pearl which worked for 3 years. Wonderful end to our holidays each April but that has since dried up and now we purchase a split holiday. Haven't yet had a forced bump but we arrive early now even before our room is ready so I suspect bumping by force ( no more rooms) likely occurs more often for later arrivals.
Was supposed to say past trip not last. Lol Was April guessing 2012 maybe. Probably around3 or 4 in the afternoon No choice. Had Boobs Cruise booked for the next morning too.

We were there in April once when they were oversold and they were offering Desire as an alternative. We didn't take it, but probably half of those checking in did. I don't think they had to "force bump" anyone.
