Bumped in january on our first trip. It was only one night and they gave us comp taxi service back and forth. Also gave us a 3 night comp voucher for our next trip. All worked out well.
We volunteered to be bumped to Desire when we went last August. It was only for 2 nights and everything was taken care of. Desire wasn't really our cup of tea but it was an interesting experience and nice to try it without committing for a whole trip. Again, we volunteered, we haven't heard of anyone being bumped without volunteering.
We had trouble last year with Alpharooms not confirming our reservation. It took 3 hours of arguing to not be turned away. P.S. if you do early check-in, it does not mean you are guaranteed a room.
Feb 2013 we had a note slipped under our door for desire, if we were not with a group we may have gone. The issue is we have met so many amazing people on the week 8 crew, we are unsure we want to go to desire hehe. Unless they all come! The Cabo resort as far as I know has been sold, we can expect prices at Temptations Cancun to go up, but we can also expect them to start improvements at the hotel which we have seen already. The fact is that we go there for the people, we go there for the naked fun, the semi-swing play time, smack that ass, lick a nipple party atmosphere with adults of adult nature, the resort itself is at beast a 3 star. We have stayed at 5 stars and yes they are much much nicer, less cockroaches, better drinks, service with a smile, etc etc, but they are not nearly as fun, not even in the running of even close to as fun. There is no other place that I know of like Temptations, except my bed room Regards, Lion
