Lily Allen was on Aussie breakfast telly this morn, she's doing concerts this week. She looked suspiciously alert, no sign of class A's!
My assistant is 22!!!!! Although he doesnt have bad habits and is a bit quiet - but I suppose you could corrupt him - he looks like he is in need of a good meal!!! Darius - I am so not joking!!! I have met the man and everything. I have signed posters by him - Jenster can vouch for that one!!!! She has seen said items in my flat!! The pictures I have even say "To Lisa" on them!!!!!!! Also met Chico in June - plus Matt Willis and lil Chris!!!! I did want to meet Chesney - but they couldnt get me backstage for him as he was too popular!!! I am meaning the Hawkmeister and not the guy from Corrie!!!!
British music is certainly back to its best--with The Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, The Fratellis, Guillemots, Young Knives, The View(oh yes),Babyshambles--i can go on..and on!! Thers a fab selection now rather than all sounding much the same. Im totally hooked on a song at the mo by a guy called 'Jack Penate', hes a London lad with mates including Lily Allen, Young turks etc. Heres a link to his myspace. I have to agree british music is going through a bit of renaissance at the moment similar to Britpop era of Oasis, Blur, Pulp etc etc Many many great bands The Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian, The Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, The Fratellis, The Ordinary Boy (even though they sold themselves out a little)to mention a few
I can indeed vouch for this fact! It is madness!!! Do a search on youtube and have a listen Suzanne, some pretty good stuff. I'm liking Lily "I'm dead 'ard me" Allens new track.
