bringing candy

    I do that all the time. As Tim & Alysia said put them in a ziplock and put in your checked bag. The altitude will keep them cold until you get to the hotel. Always nice to have a few treats from home.

    I have brought some candies, including vodka gummies...have not had any issues yet.

    Last couple of times we brought couple chocolate bars, but never hit the red lights, which was in our luggage, didn't care if they see it, all they can do is take it, end of the story, I ll bring the chocolate again,

    thanks for all the info everyone. the last thing i was is customs to be bitching about me bringing food.
