You can buy good wine at the restaurants, we usually do with dinner. Right across from the resort is a small store that also has a small selection of wines and we usually cross a few times for wine. If you take us transfers to the resort up you can book a walmart stop to get wine as well. Off hand I think it's $35.
I will be bringing a few bottles of wine. i don't need high end wine but the wine at TTR is not the greatest. if really come dinner time i can kind of stomach the white.
Use Canada Transfers for private ground transportation from/to the airport. They will stop at El Europa liquor store next to Walmart for no charge. El Europa had Fireball Whisky when we were there in Apr this year. Cancun Duty Free does not carry Fireball. And I can attest to the fact that ladies doing Fireball shots, 1st-enjoy them, 2nd-get buzzed really fast, 3rd-makes clothes fall off. The resort does have good Mexican beer. Good Champagne would have to be brought in or purchased off the resort.
