If you're asking about the nips no....if it's under 3 0z. which most nips are they're great for a drink on the plane! took them out and put them in the tray they passed with no questions asked. Ya can't bring a ton but 3 in his and 3 in mine were no problem. D
Yes we are premier members and sometime they have fireball, most of the time they run out. We also host lost of room parties and its just works out better for us to pack our own. This pic doesn't show the bottles of Belvedere we buy at the local liquor store each trip because we don't pack those in our luggage. We stopped drinking the resort vodka after our second trip it gives us a hangover. We are very particular it has to be a high quality potato vodka and gluten free so its Belvedere or Chopin, which I cant find in Mexico, for us.
The premier bar did have fireball in April. I asked about buying some for a room crawl and they would have sold it to us for $60 per bottle. I ended up taking a taxi for $20 round trip to a liquor store (La Europea I think) where I paid about $20 per bottle.
Neither the small store next to the resort or the store across the street and just a hair to left had fireball in April.
You are allowed to have 3 liters of alcohol in your checked luggage. If over 3 liters and you get the red light, they will take it or charge way more than what the alcohol is worth. Check Mexico customs. All the rules are there. Same applies for cigarettes. You are allowed 10 packs. If you have more, they will charge you a ridiculous amount.
Last sept duty free going into Cancun Marlboro lights were $32usd a carton. Coming home they had 3 cartons for $89 if I remember right. They are a bit different but I didn't mind them. Just remember duty free is before customs so you can only purchase 1 carton or get nailed by the taxes. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk
