Maybe if we get enough people wanting it back Steve can take this to the management and entertainment staff. I'm glad they got rid of the casino night too. I hated it. I really don't even care to watch the dancing shows. If you see them once every two years thats good.
I enjoy Anything Goes too, a great original game that I've never heard of anywhere else - been a captain a few times myself. Didnt care too much for Perfect Couple though, for me it went on too long. I'll mention the comments here informally when chatting with Ents staff but I wont be putting the observations formally to the Management. I'm sure they have their reasons and we wont really have much influence, so rather than being seen as a PIA I'd rather not.
Situations like this are what the comment cards are for at BBG. Make sure you fill one out with your opinions when you are there.
Correct me if I'm wrong but was this not a game for nice shoes. Seems that some in our group last year gave up ALL their clothes in this game. Maybe it will return with the re opening of nice shoes??
Anything Goes used to be fun years ago when EVERYONE in Nice Shoes had to participate, but the last 2 years they did not make it mandatory. It was not nearly as much fun and actually kind of annoying as people just kept refusing to contribute to the game. I am sure they would never go back to the old rules, so I really don't care. Of course, the original Anything Goes would be a great game during the Booze Cruise. (hint, hint) Trevor
Oh Anything Goes rocked! :headbanger: We played in May and Lisa ended up naked after confusing 'pants' with 'undercrackers', hahaha, the US/UK language barrier! Marj gave Chinos a condom full of pina colada when asked for a condom and burst it all over her face, was fab! They made anyone who didn't play stay well back and no photos as usual with any rudeness! I couldn't find my bra for ages after it ended and was stomping about in Nice Shoes hunting it! Aaaaah, happy days.
That is what is so great about Anyting Goes. It usually becomes a story for a life time to remember. I agree with Steve it was such a unique game. Who knows maybe BBG will add something better in its place but I doubt it. Nick and Renee
Anything goes was the funniest night of the holiday - and we planned our attack all day for the most outrageous stunts to shock Chinos - if that is possible!!!!! BRING IT BACK!!!!! :claphappy:
