We have stayed at Breathless Punta Cana a few years ago 6 months post opening and live it so much we did a second trip the next year! Super excited to see how Breathless Cancun compares! Anyone been recently? would love to hear feedback!
The gym is nice and clean. It has quite a few treadmills and elliptical machines. Dumbells that range from 5-50 lbs, pre-set barbells going up to around 100 lbs, quite a few machine pieces for cable work. It's no Gold's Gym but for a vacation it was pretty darn good.
Just a FYI - Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort is not even close to Cancun, is about 60 miles south of the Cancun Hotel Zone Google Maps
About 40 minutes from the hotel zone. Not a bad transfer at all from the airport, 20 minutes from the airport as the airport is between the hotel zone and Riviera Cancun where Breathless is.
If you use google maps to get directions from Breathless to TTR it is 36 km or 22 miles. However it does like KFC stated take about 40 minutes to get to the clubs in the Hotel Zone if you want to go to that area.
. It’s lots of fun for sure. Avoid the conventions though. Gym is nice and ok... good cardio, but light on the dumbbells, free weights, and work out benches. It has a couple of decent cable machines.
We met some couples who have been to both. One couple said bpc was more fun and others said brc was much more wild. There will be a lot more topless at brc according to all we talked to.
We have heard the same. We considered Punta Cana this next trip, but ultimately flights were easier and atmosphere is more what we are looking for in Riviera Cancun.
