We've been to Desire before and visited breathless, but the visit was very short to draw any conclusion, so your report is much appreciated. I understand. Best to get straightened out before visiting. It is also best to be on the same page with respect to where you are as individuals but most importantly as a couple. Experience tells me you will not know if to love or hate it until you visit. So agreeing to visit is the baby step you mention. If going alone do you best to befriend some couples to pal around with or you may feel abit alone and left out. Do not be afraid to be friendly and talk. We and most of the folks we typically go with are all monogamous. But we get wild and crazy and still have a great time. Most but not all the ladies do go topless...but not all the time. We all typically dress for theme nights. TTR is fun and not a wild orgy...well unless you start or seek one out. Be not afraid, as all that can happen is you find out it is not for you and determining that you will not visit again. As for us, we found our vacation home! Other places are now simply boring. And as I mentioned if over stimulated there is the quiet pool or beach along with many other nooks due to the renovation. As far as visiting, we became Premier members this year via the purchase of a private resale and transfer if contract.
