Here's my "Contender" story..... A couple years ago when I was in Las Vegas, I was eating lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. There was a nice looking black guy and his wife/girlfriend and child sitting at a table next to me. I noticed lots of people coming over to talk to him and then a few had their picture taken with him. I figured he was a boxer cuz when he posed for the cameras, he would hold up in fists in a boxing pose. So I ask my waiter who the guy is, and although I don't remember his name, he was one of the guys on that season of "The Contender". That night happened to be the finale in Vegas. Now wasn't that an interesting story ?
Your stories and e-mails are always very interesting :!: How much do you want to pay me to take that Tyson photo off your hands  :?:
How about a couple pesos for your next trip ? Besides, didn't you read the part where I said I put my life on the line for that damn picture !?!?!?!?!?!
I thought that would make you feel bad. Now how much are you paying me ? I could always use a little extra vacation money.
No he is not. We are doing a 4 rounder...light heavyweight...earlier in the night...working our way up...come on out anyway..you non-boxing fan!!!!
Let's see if we can convert her :!: :!: :!: Go check it out Tammy....live boxing kicks butt :!: :!: :!:
Totally agree folks, watched my current favorite UK fighter Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton live a few times in Manchester.... And in fact watched his last fight against Luis Collazo in the Outback Steakhouse in Cancun...
It is always good to hear from boxing fans especially from around the world. I just finished in Youngstown late last week, worked 3 corners doing cuts...my fighter Darryl Cunningham won a 4 round unanomous decision in someone elses home town. We were the only traveling team to win. scores of 40-36 on all 3 judges.
