Do you believe that UFC is dominating the airwaves and boxing is going to be left behind.

  1. 1. Yes..The UFC is the wave of the future.

    100.0%
  2. 2. No...boxing's roots too deep and will be here for many years to come.

we should talk tomorrow after tonights show....they are no longer in teams...its every man for themselves tonight. I have heard so many different opinions about The Contender...here is mine...if you are a true boxing fan..which I am...you have to support anything that brings the sport you love to the general public...its good for boxing...The Contender shows the human aspect of the sport, it shows the fighters families and friends, you get to know the fighters a little better and it's again, good for boxing...now there are other "boxing fans" who dislike it very much, they dont like how they put extra sound to the punches, how they dont show the whole fight and and how they add additional drama to the fights through editing and things like that...it cant be everything for everybody...but it is bringing the sport to the forefront...where it needs to be...to keep the sport alive...

I boxed for years...and I love boxing...but I am afraid it is going by the wayside. Don King, Pay Per View, retiring and unretiring....all killed the sport for todays viewers. It has become a joke.

  O.K. HITMAN it's a date tomorrow we discuss tonights Contender :!:

:D I totally agree w/ you any exposure this great sport can get is a very good thing :!: :!: I would really like to see more of the fights and a little less of the family BS....but since catchin a decent fight is getting more and more difficult, I'll take whatever I can get :!: :!: :!: :!:

My vote for winner goes to my hometown boy Gary "tiger" Balletto he might be a bit past his prime but I've seen him ringside many times and he's always been one of my favorite locals :!:

Peter Manfredo from last season hasn't been fighting nearly as much as he used to which is really getting on my nerves
