I have a very special(1993) bottle of Dom that I would like to bring to TTR for a special celebration on FEB 15th. Does anyone know if I can put this in my checked bag and get through customs or should I ship it FedEx to TTR?

I brought a bottle of Whiskey with me last year in my checked bag no problem. The only question would be that it is carbonated? I think it would be fine though.

Its perfectly fine to bring it. If its sealed, you can bring it on board with you. I used to bring my friend a case of yuengling when I would go and see him.

You'll have to pack it in your checked luggage. You won't get it through TSA as a carry on.

Yeah, pretty sure you can pack it but like said, just make sure it's impervious to breakage!
Oh, wait! DOM? That is pressurized. I don't know that you can bring that safely (as far as damage to your stuff) on an airplane. Definitely research with airline - or, I'm sure, someone may post here. Probably should have led with that as your post title lol

No problem. Have brought back many bottles of "fizz" on a 10 hour flight in hold luggage without incident.

They might open your check bag if they see it when it is scanned, we had one bag get open last year and they stuck a sticker on it to tell us but bottle was still there

I bring 2 bottles of fireball every time I go and have never had a problem. I pack one in each checked bag, that might make a difference. i think you are allowed 2 per bag no more than 750ml.
