We will be arriving into the Cancun bus station at the end of Aug. Never have been into the store across the street, so I don't know if they sell or have a decent selection (tequilas and rums). I want to buy some and prevent a taxi ride to Wallyworld or Sams. Thanks for any info.
If you fly home know that you can only put like four bottles in your luggage. They will open it up and take everything over that away and not tell you, even if you have declared it. They took 3 bottles last year from us even though there was four of us traveling. The tsa says it is for the security of the other passengers, how they figure that I don't know. And, they will not refund you your money.
Hey Miked thanks for the info. I'm talking about when we get to Cancun. I want some to take to the condo. I've past Comericial Mexacana several times but never went in. We alway went to Chedrau up Tulum Ave. I just want to make a quick run across the street.
I've never actually been to that particular store, but our local Commercial Mexicana has plenty of booze. Pretty much the same range as Walmart / Chedarui etc.
We stay at Hotel Alux right next to the bus station on Uxmal and we always go to Commercial Mexicana for our liquor. The prices are pretty much the same as wallyworld and after paying the taxi fare it may even be cheaper. Also the bakery there and the deli have some great choices too. Have fun!
