Booking with expired passport

    :icon_frown: This one isn't to TTR...it's the wholesome family outing to Playa del Carmen. We definitely have to plan a June trip again, though.

    Or...bring your butts back on up to Chicago!

    depends on the airline. When we booked through AA last year they required a valid passport # to make reservations online. Otherwise you would have to do the extended wait and security check through when you arrive at the airport.

    I believe that passport times are running about 6 weeks and you get them back within 5. However, after having a lengthly discussion at the government house with a pro regarding passports, they siad it does depend on which "office" it goes to and how strict&backed up each one is. Sometimes it is best to pay the extra cpl of buck to have it expedited and get it in 2 wks.
