the email I got broke it down the same as TTR website but they called it different names. Double Deluxe is there Deluxe Garden and so on. Word of warning though (and based on experience too) on the deluxe rooms you can request a King size bed however and I stress however it does not mean you will get one. You may get two queens... one for sleep one for play... guess its not really a problem:3some:
On the TTR website I show 4 room categories: Deluxe Garden Deluxe Ocean Jacuzzi Room Drops Of Love Package ...only one of those options is Garden View. But Alpharooms has 3 different Garden View categories Double deluxe - $1010.09 Double superior - $1841.77 Twin superior - $1841.77 ...just wondering what the difference is between these three?
Double deluxe is your basic room at TTR otherwise known as deluxe garden / I think Double Superior and twin superior are the same room but with an ocean view / On this room you can also get 2 queen instead of a king. I think it boils down to what you want in a room. we had the ocean view and though nice, the view wasn't worth the cost, the balcony is worth it, view not so much.
Yeah, I agree with you there, ocean view isn't as nice at Temptation as it is at other Cancun resorts. But the private balcony is an absolute must for us, and paying for that is going to come with the territory I guess. There is no way our balcony could overlook the Paty'O Bar, not when we party like rock stars. And the price at Expedia just dropped to $2559.80 for Ocean View and non-stop flights from March 16-22. I wish I knew when the price would be at it's absolute lowest!
We just booked thru Alpharooms.com April 18 to 23 and got a rate of $125 per night all inclusive for 2 people. I think this even includes the tax. The only problem I faced is my credit card company put a hold on my card for suspicous activity but I was eventually able to remove that and now have a confirmation #. Alpharooms does charge an additional fee depending on the type of credit card used. Still a MUCH better deal than any US based website.
We would use Alpharooms, but they charge way too much for ocean view. The cheapest we can find an ocean view room from March 16-22 with decent connecting flights is $2335.00 and that is with Orbitz.com.
Yes, we've heard the same thing and the work around is to notify them that a charge will be coming through and a ballpark figure of how much and you should be set. Our friends are really happy that they used this and we will be doing the same here when we book ours.
we always book a regular room and ask when we get there to upgrade.. there is a chance depending on how full the resort is that they might not have any and you have to take the one you booked though.
If orbitz is the best deal from where your located if you use Travel100 for a promo code it's good $100 off most packages.
