Booked some tours...

I'm headed to cancun from 2/22 - 3/1 staying at the Grand Oasis and just got done booking some tours and wanted to know if anybody has gone on these and what they thought.

- 3 days of Scuba Diving: 2 tank dive at Cancun Reefs, Cozumel, and Cenotes/Caverns

- Jungle Speedboat Tour

- ATV/Cenote Tour in Puerto Morelos

I did the jungle boat tour..it was scary! I am a boater from MI and am used to rough waters...but they put you in a tiny 2 seater boat and you set out to the sea for about 45 min. the water was very rough and the boat just kept slamming the water. I thought it would fall apart! It was very rough on your back so if that area is a problem DONT do it! When you make it to the reef it is very nice snorkeling. I didnt feel safe on this tour.

 

Who did you book the jungle tour with? What company?

We did the jungle tour with aqua world and had a blast!

Except we renamed it the Spank Your A$$ Tour :bootyshake:

How nice or new were the boats and what horse power motors?

 

Ahh that looks like fun! I cant add any more trips though.. Already paying a butt load for all mine.

 

do NOT do the jungle tour! They take you through high grass, not the jungle. At one point you go through a very narrow channel and have to dodge branches. Its certainly not worth ANY amount of money. I wouldnt even do it again if it were free .... just a fore-warning

 

i had a blast on the jungle tour its awesome!! will be doing it again on my next trip!
