Not TTR, but DRM, already booked and fully-paid, courtesy of the money previously paid for the Desire Greek Islands Cruise which got cancelled. That, actually worked out very well, considering. Option 1: Rebook and get an up-tick credit towards a future cruise (don't think we'll be wanting to go a'cruising in any upcoming year for a bit, right?); Option 2: Get a 100% refund, but it was very uncertain and they were upfront about it as to how "long" it'd take to actually "get the money back;" or Option 3: Original Resorts/Premier Club (whichever nme they're using at that instant) applied a dollar-for-dollar credit in the amount paid total for the cruise (for us it was ~$9K!) towards any booking at any of the Mexico Original Resorts... i.e. TTR, DRM or Pearl. So... 9 days at DRM reserved & paid-in-full in both end-February and June! Still got a significant credit to use as well.
Having had our trip planned for June since this past July has had some positives and negatives. Positive: lots of time and fun shopping for wife’s costumes. For some nights we have multiple options, even though we are only there 7 nights. Negatives: Wallet is much lighter from said costumes.
We’ll be there sometime around mid-June. We’ve missed our last two planned trips with 2020 being so screwed up! We can’t wait to get back home!
One way which is um.... slightly biological to turn that negative into a positive is that, should you decide to "utilize" those outfits Prior to going ont he trip, I've no idea at all of how you'd "do that," *cough-cough* your man parts will also be "lighter," which is generally perceived as a net-positive outcome.
Indeed a good point! I did get her to post a few pics in the Facebook group of the more PG-13 costumes, so at least there’s that!
IMO there really should be an easily-accessible place to post R-rated outfit pics.... But, that's just me, right?
