It's cheaper for you guys to pay the balance in USD to avoid an exchange rate that might be unfavorable if paying in Pesos compared to elsewhere. Also quicker to pay in Pesos to speed the check in along. We can also take CAD but the boat operator first converts that to Pesos, and then that amount of Pesos to USD, with both exchanges being less than generous for the consumer. I keep bitching about that but there isn't much I can do about it, it isn't my call.
