We are from Canada so mehclazine it will be, thanks for the info. She didn't want to take gravol because it makes her drowsy , she will be happy to know she has another option. They don't want to stay behind and miss the party!
She can also take anti-drowsiness gravol (made with ginger) that can be a good way to enjoy the ride!
Waves Being on a boat is just a small fraction of the fun the Boobs Cruise offers. Very little would change if the boat just stays at the pier. Food here at TTR is a lot better compare to that restaurant on Isla Mujeres. Naked snorkeling in coral reef? Also can be done without sailing that far, especially if naked is the keyword, not the coral. How about having a dry Boobs Cruise when the the waves are high or the water is cold?
If she's had issues like that before I'd say go get some medicine! Or...... Drink till she forgets about the boat rocking .
Mama gets motion sickness and took the non drowsy gravol before heading out on the Boobs Cruise, and had a few of the beverages on the way to the island. She felt fine on the way there to the various places for swimming on the way back though things did get a little choppy and she spent the remainder of the trip with her head in my lap trying not to hurl. One of the girls on the trip asked if she'd like a dramamine tablet which she took but as we were halfway back to the resort she got greener and greener and by the time we were docked she couldn't wait to make her exit. Must have been the time of year we were on the cruise we were there in October, I had a good time on the cruise and she would have too if the weather and the sea co-operated. Cause she was having a good time on the way to the island, hopefully your friend can find something to alleviate her seasickness and enjoy the outing cause there were lots of laughs to be had.
Remember the boat is also a huge catamaran so it stays quite stable compared to a normal vessel. One trick I learned from scuba diving off small boats in rough waves was to look at the horizon line. Stare at the land far in the distance and it will help fool your body and calm your tummy. It works.

I have gotten sea sick (in Jamaica, but not EVER in Cancun or on the Boobs Cruise). I take non drowsy Dramamine regardless as a precaution 1 about an hour prior and one as I'm ready to board the boat. I also take some with me just in case! It seems to work like a charm .... have always had the best time ever on the Boobs Cruise!!!! Lynn
My wife gets horribly sea sick. To the point where she gets sea sick even snorkeling if the water is rough. She has tried it all and the only thing she has found that somewhat works is the transdern scop patch. And even that doesnt work if the water gets too rough. The only issues with using that is she has to really watch how much alcohol she consumes. Found that out the hard way on our last trip. Forgot to take it off after an excursion and she went from sober to passed out drunk in 4 or 5 drinks. That would not be good on the Boobs Cruise!
