We actually enjoyed the stop in the bar on the island. Besides giving us a chance to slow the booze consumption down for a bit we would always manage to meet a few new people that may be on a different part of the boat. Now if its cancelled we are still going to be coming on the cruise. No way would we miss that. We also concur with those folks who are suggesting a longer period of skinny dipping would be nice especially if it was possible to set up in a shallower area.
Steve, I posted in the other thread on this, you probably saw it. If there's an operational reason that I don't know about, or just a bit of prudence for folks to have to take at least a small break from the getting-hammeredness.... then I'd reverse my vote from No to Yes. Otherwise, keep 'em drunken and naked on the boat with the music pumping, I say. Especially in Summer months when it's WAY Hot!
hmmm I took a look at their thread there on facebook, certainly some of them are bordering on hysterical for sure, but I understand that they have a certain expectation as well. truth is though that we are only there for an hour or so, hopefully they can keep that in perspective too.
Skip it, and spend longer skinny dipping, or a compbination of longer skinny dip ( in my case chunky dunking) and a slower cruise back!
umm.... it seems the folks that have been on one before tend to prefer to party on...with the odd exception...those that have not don't know what they are missing so it's tough to comment. I will admit that it's sometimes it's a nice break from drinking and bobbing along and gives us a chance to slow the pace a bit so it has some advantages. Folks don't tend to come back loaded down with shopping so it's pretty much something that's nice to do but not essential and they would just as easily accept an alternate event. That said why don't you simply advise folks BEFORE they sign up that you MAY or MAY not make the town stop based on the majority wishes of those on board that particular day....kinds of like you do with regards to snorkeling. If you don't make the town stop please suggest the alternative ...seas and weather willing. Bottom line.... these cruises are different every time based on the crowd and you as the organizer can and should be allowed to make judgement calls to cater to the wishes of the majority...plus the seas and weather and your take on the general state of affairs that day. Just like a great and experienced DJ at a party reads the crowd and alters music to suit... why don't you sell that as one of your features!! ...booze, boobs, fun times and a flexible agenda all driven by the goal of maximum fun. Steve the Boobs Cruise GOD will chaperone the day of debauchery using his many years of experience and hundreds of happy outings. The good news is that this allows you to find alternate activities that might suit the day and crowd better! ...slower pace...alternate route...different stops etc etc etc. 2 cents
this will be our first boob cruise ..we would like to see as much as we can ,but if the majority don't want to stop .we are not going to get too upset .
Although I'd like to see the stop removed from the trip, having a choice wouldn't be the end of the world. Although I'd want the survey taken about a half hour before the planned stop, not first thing in the morning, for example. Cause people who haven't been on the cruise before, can not possibly have any idea how much fun they are going to be having about that time!
Yeah I just read it too, when I was there last year, I don't remember a lot of nakedness on the beach on either cruise. Yes, some of the ladies were topless but the games were mainly just in that small area of the beach that people really had to walk around in order to watch. Seems silly for them to complain about half an hour of games they don't have to watch and a few ladies eating lunch without a shirt on. Oh well...to each their own. Some people have nothing better to do than to complain about others to fill their time.
while there does seem to be a majority leaning towards not making the second stop, there are still people that do prefer the stop. I think for the benefit of those that prefer the stop, and newbies that have never been on a cruise before things should remain the same....if it's not broke don't try to fix it :flash:
true...maybe it should just be Boobs Cruise specific. Cruises that have all repeaters maybe skipping the second stop could be an option.
