Who is coming in on Thurs.? Anyone local who can offer some ideas for Thurs. PM for a good TX Steak and a fun bar with entertainment or music close to the hotel?

 

Not sure about their steak, but the Ice House is a fun place and just one exit down!

As far as steaks go, the Texas Land & Cattle across the highway is gone, but, Outback is close by, as well as Texas Roadhouse. Also take a look at JR's just north of the hotel on Highway 121.
A couple of fun bars close by are Big Shots and Toadies Bar and Grill.

 

Any recommendations for a good Mexican restaurant?

 

On the Border is close.

Thanks for the info. Will you be around on Thursday? I'm not sure of the trouble we could get into with 2 Tabithas (Tabs) together. Guess we will soon see...;-)

I would prefer something other than Outback and Texas Roadhouse only because we have both of those around us or at least used to. Both are good just looking for different or unique to Texas. But, happy to follow the crowd.
