Could have been worse, I guess! Glad to hear the damage wasn’t as bad as it could have been. See you on June 10th...can’t wait!!
Not that my opinion counts, because I'm always the creeper......lol, but I felt because of the size of the Amazonia it spread the party out to much. The netting in front instead, of the plank flooring in the front of Just Amazing, makes it more difficult for dancing, games and whatever else might be happening. Don't get me wrong the day I went was still the best time you will have in Cancun. I think the real reason Steve wants Just Amazing back is so he can have his seat back on the front of the pontoon. Amazonia doesn't have one.
Yeah I agree. Prefer decking to netting. Haha, my seat on the Amazing flew away a while back and wasnt replaced. But Amazonia does have a few pros. Larger undercover area in case of rain, more storage space for bags so we arent all tripping over them, safer access to the ocean and a larger capacity for when we have the big groups. Current boat arrangements are: > 75 people Amazonia 50-75 people Saga Boy <50 people Antonio - Antonio also has a wooden deck Sometimes we can get a bigger boat without the numbers, but depends on how many people there are on the regular tours that day. Last I heard and saw (Monday) they had patched the hole in Amazing and were pumping out. The boat was looking much more healthy. She will be then taken to Cuba for repairs and could be out of action for a couple of months.
