Oh the pain truly isn't that bad.....except nipples and they hurt like mo fo's. A hood piercing doesn't hurt much at all. I'd suggest that you don't do a belly button piercing now if you're going to TTR this summer. Those things can take forever to heal.
None of my (Lynfa) piercings hurt at all... apart from my nipple which was agony - then I had my boobs done about a month later so had to take the dam thing out!
Nipples were agony for over a month and then again everytime I caught my barbells on a bikini strap etc. I did love the look ...........unless of course I didn't want people to see them.....then if I got hard nipples it was always barbells galore. Lol remember I live in canada so always hard. I tooK mine out cause I like going braless and couldn't with these. And if your thinking of doing this.....just a note I lost sensation in both nipples...so think twice.
Me too. Hated taking them out but didn't want them to migrate and still miss the look still now. I do regret doing them cause of sensation I lost and I have consistant hard nipples all the time now.
I love mine! You're right......the pain was excrutiating and continued to be significant for a month or so....and getting them caught on something was and is painful. But I love them! I love the look and have not lost any sensation at all. I have dozens of different types of jewelry from rings to shields to barbells to dangles to stars (like Janet Jackson) to nipple covers. I always wear a curved barbell with 3/8 steel balls in my hood. Just sayin...... Ellie:flash:
Not sure why everyone says nipple piercings hurt the most for a considerable time afterwards??? Must be cuz I am a guy, mine only bothered me for a few days...almost passed out getting it done though, lol. My belly button hurt for weeks but I think that was becasue it was always getting caught on the waist of my pants or my seatbelt. My tat on my lower abdomen was insanely painful... like two hours of having a blow torch run across the area. Has faded a bit from the sun (thanks to TTR?) and I need to get touched up... sooo not looking forward to that but it is an amazing tat so I want to. Only problem was (and will be again) that I couldn't wear pants for a week. Maybe that isn't such a problem But touch and contact would be, lol. Scott
Tom it didn't hurt mate until one came out and closed up. Had to re-pierce it myself..........ouch lol
