Boat license?

    Hello everyone! I'm from Europe and interested in moving to Mexico for some months. Wanna buy a small motor-boat or motor-launch.. Tell me please, do I need a boat license for it? Guess that I do, and what are the laws?

    Ok,hope this helps. I have a 10 mt. Fishing boat in cozumel I bought 4years ago. No lic. Needed if you don't rent it out.if you do,then you have to hire a capt. And have a safety lic. When buying, papers need to be done by a notary.make sure you have a place to put it BEFORE you buy it. Here in cozumel, hard to get dockage. Mail me anytime. J.r.
