Going to put my two pence worth in, Europe is a big expanse made up of many different countries and cultures, which bring with it many different outlooks on life, think the only thing Donald said wrong was to paint us all with the European brush, we still like the idea we are British and different from most of Europe with our ideas and outlook on life and ideas.
Marketing in Europe? Some people hear only what they want to, even it was not said. These two guys probably belong to this category.
PS,, I was born in Nottingham England ( long Story) The only person i might of painted was the misinforming travel agents. As far as British / European definitions , they are not as clear this side of the pond.( North America) The guy was marketing a Polish thing. The post was not intended as a political one,, just retelling a conversion to the detail,,, that was not elaborated to make more interesting. Cheers :beer4:
Hey Donald I have no problem with your post at all, I like this forum for this sort of thing, good to read all post on things happening and being said at TTR.
I'll be the first to admit, I post controversial things or poke people to get things going and interesting, but a few people have implied this post was racist , and I just don't see it. Where is Poland BTW ,,lol
Is the quiet pool where you go if you do something really bad at the sexy pool? Me and my wife should have been sent there for sure. :lotsofmichaelfs:
You racist bastard LOL. Just kidding. I can see where you're coming from, and very much like the post that you made. So don't let anyone get at you! Your entitled to your opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Kind of like the U.S. We are a huge expanse of land, made up of 50 unique states, and populated with very diverse people that do speak a common language, however, with very different dialects. Plus, we are made up of a hugely wide range of ethnicities. People from southern Alabama, New York city, Montana and Southern California will all have very different opinions on what America is, and is supposed to be. Not all that different from Europe really.
It's like last time at TTR ,I am used to meeting people, and me being Italian American, kissing the air on the side of both of someones cheeks is a sign that I respect you!My last trip being that I'm very friendly with people I respected a young man, who went to shake my hand and i to begin to kiss the air the side of his cheeks as a sign of respect... He did not understand this, so I had to explain that I was just trying to show him that that was how I grew up and had respect for the way he was acting! He understood after an explanation, and all was good. But, at first I think he thought I was trying to kiss him LOL.. Anyone that was there for April Addicts with me, probably got the air kisses on the cheeks from me I do hope I did not make anyone uncomfortable, but I was brought up,that this is a way to show respect to anyone that is a good person.. So anyone that was there in April, and got the air kiss on the cheeks from me, is not in any way a homosexual thing, is actually A very good sign of respect that you have my respect for the way you are behaving but I love you all!
