I make my mine with Skyy, Picante Clamato, Lea and Perrin's, Tabasco, celery salt, coarse ground pepper, horse radish and lime.
Bloody Mary drinks are hit & miss in our experience at TTR. Their mix isn't so good, generally, but sometimes the bartender is really good and talented at putting them together and they're delicious.
The hotter and spicier the better in my Bloody Mary. Basically...figure out what will kill me...and then just back it off a little. If it's spicy enough, it doesn't matter how crappy the vodka is.
I found the caesars were awful in Mexico. They put way too much Worcestershire sauce in it. I even asked for less and it still wasn't great. It's no Mott's Clamato caesar, that's for sure.
I want one right now!! Sounds like a perfect caesar. The ones at TTR don't cut it at all. They do make an acceptable gin & tonic though !!
I agree that the spice is what makes for a good Bloody. Now if there isn't enough spice but is flavorful I'll be happy, but I'd prefer spicy.
RayParis6, a Bloody Caesar is a Bloody Mary made with Clamato instead of tomato juice. See my recipe above.
