Just to add my 2 cents in too, I first went to TTR 4 and half years ago with my ex. I've been back solo every year since at the same time because of the friends I made that first year. We've got a large group that's a mixed bag of singles and couples that go back every year in late Nov - early Dec. Every year we add more to the Chaos Crew and single or couples, young or young at heart, in shape or not, we keep coming back because it's just good people having a great time. Enjoy your trip, it will be as much fun as you allow it to be
September will be my 9th trip as a single and there have always been a good mix of couples and singles, I've been in May, June, Sept and Oct. Some of the best times I've had at TTR were partying with couples (Chris and Ex, Jen & Todd, Wade & Karen, Sarah & Martin, Eric & Liz and Martha & Aaron to name a few). As many have said, nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit, you'll have fun no matter what. Hope you work out your travel arrangements and end up going.
