Beware of your belongings

Just to give some balance to this discussion. My first night a BBG I fell into the first night trap and when I awoke my sandal were missing. Some kind soul had turned them in and they were at the front desk the next morning.

Having said all this I never take anything of great value, either monetarily or sentimental with me when I go.

 

Man! Now I have to add crappy flip flops to my list. I need more cheap sunglasses anyway

 

Not too crappy, they might think your stuff is unwanted garbage and throw them away!

 

I've bought my boyfriend the exact same hat and had it shipped over from America so all is well again.. although if it comes to Cancun in Feb, it is not coming off his head! :headbanger:

 

I'm sorry about the hat but I love hearing about fellow Giants fans on the other side of the pond. Cool!

Only thing I would say to be aware of is be careful with a nice baseball hat if he wears it in the pool. Mine is stained from the pool water (I imagine the chlorine/chemicals). I wouldn't wear a nice hat in the pool or let it get wet with pool water.

 

One night when we were at Patty O's I went to the bar for a drink and when I returned, someone had stolen Sam. They returned him five minutes later. (Sorry Sam...JK!)

 

I just took my old, sweat stained hats so I didn't have to worry about anything happening to them. Of course I did wash them first. LOL

 

Dikfore had his shorts stolen one night at the sports pool. We were in for probably less than an hour and when we got out they were nowhere to be found, but everything else was left untouched. We were pretty pissed, especially since there was a brand new pack of smokes in the pocket. lol
