Best Week of My Life.. Trip Report

You guys were a fun group to party with as well......

 

Glad you beat me to it - we bring/spend the same. $25 is about right for dinner at the Italian/Asian/seafood for each dinner (it blows our minds when we see people walk out after that level of fine dining service and leave nadda :huh: ). These people work their @sses off and do not believe for a minute that the hotel is paying them anywhere near what they are worth. $30 is gone before reaching the room. van/front desk (if a mystery pm me)/bellboy to room without elevator..

 

One night at Patyo's, I gave the bartender a $20 and he ran around the bar and gave me a hug. He was so happy. I will never forget that moment. It is only $20 to me, but it meant the world to him.

 

I'll hug you for $20.

 

We brought a magnetic dart board with us last year as part of a sports theme costume. Bar tender asked if he could have it for his kids if we didn't want to take it home and it made his day. It's things we consider as basically trash after our hols that make their kids' day. Stuff we can get on ebay or Amazon easily that they can't for their kids. They loved the glow hair clips too for their daughters.

Some holiday makers also work for minimum wage too and spend years saving up for a decent holiday. Don't you think it fairer that folks should just give what they can and not be expected to find an extra $500/600 .This is a lot of money to some. no-one should feel pressured into giving away more than they can afford. If you have it, give it, But please don't be setting a price list for tips based on your own financial situation.

I was electrocuted 2 yrs ago in my shower at TTR in the 500 blocks near the sexy pool lol I immediately got out and was numb all over for hours....shit happens but as long as everyone's good that's all that matters. great trip report. glad to hear you all enjoyed your time!
