OK,, it was great , now its good ,, and thanks to USA for giving us a break, it,s not their fault we elected Liberals ( JK , don't get all political ,lol ) Between TTR raising its rates, Mexican Hotel tax increasing, and the Canadian dollar, trips are almost double what they were 2 or 3 years ago. Yes their worth every penny , but there,s only so many to go around
If you book with any of the tour companies they'll all be outside of the airport. When you first clear customs you'll go through a set of sliding doors and into a hallway. There will be people there saying they know where you're going they will be time share sharks keep walking. On either side you'll see rental car places and sightseeing places just keep walking. Once you're outside look for the guy holding the clipboard if you book USATransfers he'll have a clipboard with that on it talk to him he'll have your driver pick you up and take you to the resort
Rent a car! We paid like $50 US for a week. Hertz rental car, decline the insurance and use AMEX. We went exploring, headed to wal mart when we needed to, etc. Was completely worth it.
Well hats off to you two... I can't imagine driving in Cancun... just riding the bus and taking a taxi blows us away... Never ever would we consider driving there...LOL
Hah! Its really not that bad. We got a tiny smart car kinda thing and it was great. Driving to Chizen Itza was great, and they have a perfect toll road that is nicer than alot of U.S. roads...
Yeah ok... never ever !!!! We did the tour to Chizen itza on a bus and i thought that trip would of been a lot better had we rented a car... but still we won't be doing it...
