    pfft.

On my screen it lists all the hotels around Buffalo airport, what their prices are, and how long you can park for free.

use drop down menu and see what magic happens.

I just looked on our Qantas site which is the only airline that does it. im coming from brisbane. stopping over in LA and changing onto some other airline? 2800 return, although i did look up other sites and found fares for 2300. I wont book my flight until next year i just want to keep alot of money available to actually get there and if i get to cancun cheaper all the more partying for me!!!

It doesn't have to be another airline (you have the option and mostly it'll be another airline), just a separate ticket. Basically instead of one roundtrip, you are buying two separate roundtrips. Airfares are defined by city pairs (origin and destination). It just happens that sometimes it's actually cheaper to add your connection if fare for A<->C is more expensive than fare for A<->B + fare for B<->C.

The downside is that you have to schedule your own connection and in this case very long connections since you'll have to go through US custom and passport check to go outside to check in again for your second flight. I'll say at least 3 hours at LA. Or you can make it longer and spend whole day in LA.

Sometimes breaking up a long trip with a stopover is not a bad idea, especially if the stopover city is some where you always wanted to visit but don't have the chance to normally. My trip home (Taiwan) is a 22 hour trip. I don't go home very often but one of those times, I am going to try to make a stopover at Tokyo (my other two choices are LA and San Francisco which I've been to plenty of times). It gives you an opportunity to recharge a little before heading to your destination too.

But if you only want get to Cancun and the difference in cost is not that great, it's probably better to fly straight.
