It is usually cheaper! yes. Honestly, calling and requesting doesn't do much of anything. I find that I like the 3rd floor best I agree with you on what you said. We aren't in the room much. Who cares what it looks like!
Now that we have been to the golden in July and February we have to say we liked July better. There was a great group of people there this time, made a lot of new friends but it was super crowded
