Before taxes, yes. As I was explaining on another thread, the package deals work differently in Canada. There are a number of reputable charter airlines that ONLY fly to warm destinations. So tour companies work with these charter airlines and the hotels to package together deals that include everything. If we had to fly a scheduled airline (i.e. Delta, US air, Air Canada, etc.) and then book the hotel separately it would be a lot more. Just to prove that I'm not full of sh*t, check it out. All Inclusive Vacation Packages and other Last Minute Travel Deals at itravel2000 Search for Temptation resort, departing on January 23rd. It's $707 as of right now, but that includes air, hotel, and transfers to and from the airport. Taxes aren't included, and probably push the total price to a little over $950 per person. So it's a little more than we paid, but it's getting closer to the big holiday season. And I booked 4 months in advance, which probably helped as well. So if you are in Canada or near the Canadian border, definitely worth checking out.
Hey we have been to Temptations several times now and last trip was informed from some friends there to book thru alpharooms too. We are in Pennsylvania. I can get onto their website and go thru the booking process but we want an oceanviev vs gardenview room this time. I have not been able to figure out a way to contact them directly or do it online w/ confirmation. I'v tried their intl codes w/ the ph # listed..........011 44 0871 472 3025 and can't get thru. ANy tips??? Kim
Try http://kayak.com if you want to book hotel and flight click on the link for vacation package. Will give you several different flights, and you can choose Temptation for your hotel.
Had same problem, Sun-quest did not have a Jacuzzi suite option so I contacted hotel manager directly and upgraded with him even though I didn't book with hotel. Worked fine slipped him a tip on check in. Got a bootle of champange the next day. Nice guy. Sits at a desk buy the front desk but not on the other side, there time shre here is the email AURELIO PICHARDOGERENTE EN TURNO MANAGER ON DUTY mod@temptationresorts.com tel: 52 998 8487900 ext: 1536
We used AAvacation.com this time, they were slightly higher but we could do partial payment with miles which is great considering how worthless those miles are for trying to find a flight anymore
Re Alpharooms 0871 numbers are only dialable from within the UK - this ensures they get charged as a local call from anywhere within the UK. Also when dialling the UK you'd drop the 0 from the area code so it would be 871 not 0871 - but I think this will still not work due to the first reason. It seems you can submit an email support request by creating an account. But I'm not sure whether you can create an account without making a booking first. Another problem I've heard many times is since Alpharooms are in the UK, when you try to use a US or Canadian credit card this often triggers a fraud attempt with your credit card company due to it seemingly being used abroad, to avoid this call your credit company and let them know that the transaction is genuine and they'll let it pass.
Just book thru Alpharooms July 28 for 5 nights $149.00 per night for room not per person. Had to call credit card co. to Ok Charge.
