Right outside Patty O's! I'm never concerned about the noise because I'm the one causing it... It's close to the buffet too... Mmmm... FOOD!
Those rooms were being remodeled while we were there a few weeks ago. They were scraping the walls/ceilings, repainting/replacing everything... So maybe there was an issue.. We stayed in 1261, and we will try our hardest to get that same room again the next time we go. Its at the end of the resort, nice and quiet, AMAZING ocean view, indoor jacuzzi tub with rainfall shower... The bed/part of the room The view at sunrise.. We had a problem a couple of times with our air conditioner, but if we just turned it off for 2 minutes then back on it would be fine for the rest of the day...
We were in 1262 and had the same great views. Trouble was the neighbors were really loud... :biggrinbandit:
You guys were neighbors last trip, that is too funny. How did you score such sweet rooms, with the nice view of the beach??
We actually had quite a few neighbors... SandS were next to us, then we found out that Tony & Trish were below us, and the Jersey Boys (Not on here, but those that met them knew them as this) were above us based on their explanation of the "loud noises" they kept hearing lol. And I think there were a few other people in the 1200's from our group too... We booked an ocean view room through CheapCarribean... When we checked in, I asked if they had any jacuzzi room upgrades available... They did, but wanted like $60/night... I said that's okay, but something quiet and away from Patty O's would be great. They took a few minutes searching, then gave us that room. We were NOT expecting that... :headbanger:
No kidding, that room kicked ass. We have paid for ocean view rooms in the past, but never got an ocean front room like that.
Those particular views are at the very end of the Quiet building (2 on each floor) which most folks seem to want to avoid because it's too far (???) from the action. We're happy to walk a few extra steps to escape the maddening crowd when we want to call it a night. Nice and quiet (except for the occasional noisy neighbor... :wink3
Exactly our opinion as well.. we don't mind walking a little farther... and typically it was so late that the wife would strip her clothes off (what little she had on anyways) and run to the room and I would run along side and watch her boobs bounce (totally almost slammed into the fire extinguisher because I wasn't paying attention one night)..
