We’ve stayed in both the Sexy Pool and Quiet Pool areas, and while the Quiet Pool is more chill at night, the walk back after partying was a bit of a buzzkill. For us, the Sexy Pool rooms were better vibes overall. Reminded me of how we picked our spot for a conference venue Rotorua trip—location was everything, even more than the room view.
Of the more ‘standard’ rooms, I’ve always preferred the garden/courtyard rooms at the NW end of the resort. Prior and Post remodel. They seem to hit the sweet spot for access to the action and not suffer from 7x24 head-banging. Most of them seem to have a few more square feet as well. Knowing which building to turn off into can be the biggest challenge as they truly do all look alike.
