Me and 3 of my friends (sophomores at the U of A), are going to be going to Cancun for our first time this spring break, March 10th-18th. Anyways I was curious what the best place to stay at would be for us, we want a AI resort... We were thinking Gran Caribe Real or maybe RIU Cancun but I was told to stay away from Gran Oasis... We are looking for a lot of college students at the same place and want there deff to be a lot of people at the pool and the resorts bars, in other words what would be the best resort for us?? Im calling the travel agent tommorow to book it so fast advice is appreciated thanks
hi and welcome if you want lots of partying and stuff i'd stay away from the riu. its not so spring breakie... the oasis or the gran cribe real (as its offered thru student city and there will be lots of spring breakers) would be your better options. i'd say the caribe over the oasis. but thats me. you might want to try the oasis for the parties. but you can go to the oasis during the day for 25 dollars or free by beach access... any other questions just ask
Yeah the Grand Oasis, usually houses the older guests. They tend to book the party guests at the Oasis Cancun. Although the Gran is a nice hotel it may not be as rowdy. The Riu Cancun is a very nice hotel, and has a nice mix of ages. And the Gran Caribe Real is offered from alo of Spring Break companies, which means there will deinfately be loads of Spring Breakers there.. :lol:
So it sounds like I should look into the Gran Caribe over the others... Everyone keeps saying the Oasis has a huge pool scene during the day, is it really that much better than the Gran Caribes? Or is the Oasis just considered the place to stay at for spring breakers...?
The Oasis is known as the party spot for spring Breakers...The Gran Caribe Real is a nicer hotel though..And they are a lil bit apart... actually now im not sure... Either oasis or caribe, im booking it tommorow so I have time. One question, is the caribe still a party spot or not really? Remember this is my first time in cancun..
Yeah the Caribe is...If you do a search for Spring Breaker companies, that book for Spring Break you will see that the Gran Caribe Real is listed onmost of them....Check out Student City.com..>They have it listed on there..
