Im stayin at the Oasis March 13 - March 18.

    Thanks again guys!!!

There is a liquor store RIGHT across the street from the Oasis, TONS of alcohol, Id do that, it will save you time and money!! Or you can buy it duty free before coming to Cancun at the airport!!

wal mart is where i usually go. so im not sure about any of the liquor stores on the strip. wal mart is about 20-40 minutes from the oasis. sometimes there can be some serious traffic if you go at the wrong time

You won't be saving a lot of money buying liquor stores in hotel zone. Especially imports like vodka, you'd want to buy at duty free store before you get to Cancun. Domestic stuff, walmart and downtown are both cheaper than stores in hotel zone.

wast really cheap across the street henry, it was a smaller store, I think thats why, not much advertising like "hey come buy booze" hahaha but there was a LOT of it and it was pretty cheap! We each bought 2 bottles in duty free, but the BIG ass bottle of tequila we bought was from across the street!

i think the best place is Wal-Mart but they just opened a new really big guilding that sells a lot of booze and its supposed to be cheaper (at least in Mexico City is) its called La Divina or something like that... its really close to La Isla Mall and across the street from the police station...

maybe you should check it out... ill ask my friends if its as cheap as i think and i will let you know
